Who we are

Regal Roofing (Leeds) Ltd is a roofing company working across Leeds and West Yorkshire. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 13907563, with our registered office at 24 Fairfield Terrace, Bramley, Leeds LS13 3DH.

What we collect

When you use the quote form, we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give it, postcode, the type of work you need, anything you write about the job, and any photos you attach.

If you call, text or WhatsApp us, we keep your number and what you send us, including photos. If we go on to do work for you, we also keep the address of the job, your quote and invoices, and our records of the work.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a written quote, carry out and invoice the work, and deal with any questions or problems afterwards. We don't use it for marketing, we don't send newsletters, and we never sell or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract with you, carrying out that contract, and our legal obligation to keep financial records. Where we keep an enquiry that didn't go ahead, it's in our legitimate interest to be able to pick it up if you come back to us.

Who sees it

Only Regal Roofing. To run the website and our business we use a small number of services that handle information on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts this website and passes form enquiries to us; our email provider; WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there; and our accountant, for invoices and tax records. Each of them only uses it to provide their service to us.

Some of these services may store information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't go ahead, we delete it after 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep the records for six years after the job, because the law requires us to keep financial records for that long. Photos of our work may be kept longer to show on this website, but only with your address and anything identifying you removed.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies or tracking. It doesn't run advertising or analytics scripts, and the fonts are served from our own site rather than a third party. Our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email regalroofing21@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month. Some records, such as invoices, we have to keep for the legal period even if you ask us to delete them.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date below.
